Great. We agree that there are legit (probably) uses. Not sure we agree that there are illegit uses, but it's glaringly obvious there are.

You mean the news crew who followed them for miles in the middle of the night and then watched them dispose of bags/syringes/actovegin (and recovered it) are the tin-foil hat brigade? It's funny, but that fact isn't even in question--not even by the then Postal team.

BS. The true identity of the drug found in the trash was not known. LA claimed it was "acto-something", which is far from damming proof.

Weird then that Gorski said in a statement (after the bags were found with Actovegin) that the squad's doctor had legal permission to use and prescribe it. Also strange that Gorski said the French medical control agency - Agence Francaise de Securite Sanitaire des Produits de Sante - authorized the team doctor to bring Actovegin into the country. That's a lot of very specific explanation for a product that wasn't found.

Lance acting like he didn't know what it was called is fodder for the gullible, not an indication that it wasn't there...something that's not in dispute.

I'll give you credit though, that's a new one. Shame, you're generally one of my favorite posters on here. Sorry you are that wrapped up in the myth!

RF, I was kidding. :D

I remember the news conference when LA was asked about it, and he was like "acto-something" and acted surprised. Of course he is full of it (I'm talking about shyt, but maybe acto-something, too?).

My faith in you and your avatar is restored. I'm very happy! :D

I've just read too many nutty posts on this thread...

Guys, it was curling, not speed skating. So yeah, they spiced up a boring sport a little.

Speaking of speed skating, I liked the color combo on the Canadian teams.

Some of the snowboard parachute pants coronations were almost silly.

I expect a massive scandal in curling any day now.
You know those guys are jacked on beta blockers and phenobarbital of some sort to help with concentration. Probably HGH, and maybe steroids too, to help them see better and steady their hand. ;)
