Wish I had watched more of that. Tough race and so pleased for Declercq, Could have quite easily been his day. Loved the way he celebrated.

Also: Trentin really rides like a loser this season. Of course, defending CCC's colours doesn't help that much (sorry Greg), but he is a complete disaster in race finals this year. Can't even sprint in a decent way anymore. It started early in the Omloop and it didn't got any better post-lockdown.

How has that changed from previous years?
He (almost) never wins sprints at the end of Classic.

To be fair, he did attacked with 2 other guys but was closed down by Quicksteps. When Quicksteps had 4 guys in the group, he just couldn't cover all attacks on his own. It was natural he lost today.

Rewatched a bit of that again. Loved it. Can't wait for the likes of Le Samyn next year.
In the meantime I guess I better watch some guys ride up mountains.
