Purito's never on form this early, at least on longer climbs.
Oman and Tirreno 2012 were bad in terms of climbing, although his accelleration still got him the stage in Offida.

Btw if Contador is in the form all his fans are promising with the Vuelta in his legs, he should (again) easily beat Purito everywhere he wants.

I don't know any joke (I guess that's Noval secret rol) but when I was young and can't come to Madrid range by myself I found an amateur cyclist and when I arrived I noticed that I forgot my cycling shoes, so to take the chance of being at Madrid range I used booties to ride. Somehow I managed to did two climbs
