I'M IN EUPHORIA! What a glorious victory! The last roar of the Lion King! And what a roar that was! You are truly a hero and a source of inspiration Alberto. My hero!

I am going to buy a proper road bike with the few bucks I have and start riding! :D

Speachless... cycling died today. Today, the great one retires and the most disgusting team achieves his best result on a gt season. Sky is better than ever...

I'm so happy for him, seeing the feelings from the raoadside fans, announcers, and more importantly his fellow riders was amazing!

He attacked on Carmona and Hoz as well but they weren't that good.

Happy birthday, both of you! Mine was too early four days ago. A bittersweet September for Alberto's fans I guess

LOL I'm older than dirt and I've seen all the legends ride live from Anquetil to Contador. I feel very privileged :).

I have Said it before, but it's truer than ever: Contador is the greatest racer of this era. In fifty years, he'll be mentioned alongside Coppi, Merckx, Hinault and Pantani.

Indeed and that is exactly where he belongs, one of the all time Greats, a true Legend!

Based on his Vuelta performance, his GT credentials are still good, esp for the Giro and the Vuelta, he might not have what it takes to win the TDF right now, but this seems like he is being forced into an undeserved and early retirement when he still has plenty to offer. But for the Andorra day when he was sick, it would have been a 3 way battle between him, Nibali and Froome for the GC.
