LaFlorecita said:yea he's deliberately not learning English, that's probably why his English has improved so massively. It's still not great but you can hardly expect that from him.

Froome? I thought it was going to be Wiggo? Froome even better though!!!

18-Valve. (pithy) said:Yes, Wiggins changed his schedule. No T-A (or P-N) for him.
airstream said:I think he purposefully surrounds himself by spaniards to stew in his national juice. Considering how many years he is hanging out in English speaking circle, he should speak like a native speaker. Nonetheless it doesn't happen.
Maybe you should discuss that with The Hitch. http://forum.cyclingnews.com/showpost.php?p=1123324&postcount=5013peloton said:If you haven't noticed, the Giro organizers have tried everything to get him there this year. See Dubai etc.

airstream said:No, I'm being ironic and playing kind of antithesis. If he had had won the stage, part of fans would inevitably have told: "Look, I told you! If this off form Contador wins, others are helpless. I look forward to July!". But when he didn't win, expectations are the same and positive moments are desperately sought out in anything, say, badly prepared Nibali. It looks very comical for an impartial fan. I don't know. Probably it is the case only for me.![]()
jens_attacks said:i agree with this . with a possible rise back to the best form andy and froomey's sweet bilharzia kicking in again would be suicidal to try it. it won't work. it hould have been nice to see him against wiggo but after that, close to the zero chance to beat andy and chris.the other ones maybe, but not these two.

Talking, not saying he's going to do it.
He was considering doing it, and stopped cosidering it when learned about Wiggo's decision.
You're worse than Flo.
A question for all Contador's fans: Are you, somehow, related to Contador or do you get paid for your activity here?
That would give some sense to your posts.
Angliru said:You're going to give yourself hypertension with all of your worrying about how the forum will respond to Contador's every move. You refuse to admit it or face it but your obsession with Contador and the bizarre and uncontrollable need to counter each and every positive post about him is just as extreme as those that you constantly criticize. I truly believe that at some point in your past you were a Contador fan and maybe his questionable past associations and recent suspension sent you reeling into a state of hysteria. Now you've made it your mission to not allow any good words about your unrequited love to be posted without you shouting it down with accusations of fanboy/girlisms, protestations of not being "true fans of cycling"....blah, blah, and blah.

Aren't you equally as bad with your own speculation behind your belief of the reason(s) for his not doing the Giro? What makes your opinion more valuable and accurate in it's analysis than anyone else?

I've expressed my opinion, then fans started to twist my words. That's the point of my criticism.
Everybody have an opinion, and it's not more or less valuable than someone's else. But if you start twisting someone's words in order to ridicule them, or malicious tone dominates someone's post - that's insolence and the question about relation or payment is appropriate one for that kind of discussion.
You'll never find me twisting someone's words or ridiculing an opinion. I always try to put some arguments behind my claims.
Clear?

I'm describing the situation without making an issue of it. What's wrong?ou really didn't go there did you? I will take the high road on this one and not make an issue of it.
