You've said this more than once.glassmoon said:birds of a feather flock together
Well you know Contador's going to be in prime shape and extremely motivated for the Vuelta. He can't do it all himself of course, but a couple of stage wins and the overall would be a good start for gaining back points for Saxo.maxmartin said:Now Saxo just have to figure out how to get enough pointsmaybe without world tour status, saxo can still get invitation from tour since a bunch of french teams may become world tour team next year

Riis hoping new events next week about that.maxmartin said:OMG didn't you know Contador's points won't count for the next two year!!!!!
No, I didn't know that. Part of the clenbuterol sanction, I assume?maxmartin said:OMG didn't you know Contador's points won't count for the next two year!!!!!
A new rule. Part of every doping sanction. But;VeloCity said:No, I didn't know that. Part of the clenbuterol sanction, I assume?
The rule is already in force for valverde - the UCI will argue it's not for individual or team rankings - just for world tour rankings and licenses ( still not right though)LaFlorecita said:A new rule. Part of every doping sanction. But;
1 It is against the WADA "no extra punishment" rule
2 It was introduced after Alberto tested +

But it was implemented for Valverde, who never actually tested positive. Big grey area but I expect Alberto will get away with it.LaFlorecita said:A new rule. Part of every doping sanction. But;

Even if the worst will happen, Saxo will be invited to the Tour as long as they have Contador.maxmartin said:that is why there are all those rumors, merge with GAS, swap with Andy, because there is slight chance Saxo lose world tour rank Contador will not even be able to race the tour. But I don't think that is going to happen, either rule will be overruled or Saxo has to come up some scheme to cope with this.![]()
Opinions differ on that matter. For example I'm not so sure they would be invited.T-Nielsen said:Even if the worst will happen, Saxo will be invited to the Tour as long as they have Contador.
Contador vs. Schleck = money.LaFlorecita said:Opinions differ on that matter. For example I'm not so sure they would be invited.
Don't underestimate ASO, the Andy Schleck Organisation.T-Nielsen said:Contador vs. Schleck = money.
Not to mention who ever one would be with an *.
*Contador, the best GT rider of his generation was not invited.
