Good post, there were even rumours in the past weeks he´s considering to do the Giro.

Cali would be a good compromise, I think.

I don't think alberto like to race in the US. Jetlag probably and the road is way biggerrrr. (it's mostly highway :D)... I was hoping he goes to LBL. So he can see if he can rub elbow with sir wiggin and maybe help his old friend andy back to his bike.

Even in his 'bad' year (2010) he won on Mende and was the strongest on the Mur.

Contador of old where art thou?

Don't forget that he had problems with the pollen aswell.

But ok in FW of 2011 he sucked though and then he also had the flu.

I know trying to find excuses

So to sum it up, what should AC win this spring before the tour, to still believe that Saxo and AC is up to the job and can compete with the SKYBORGS and win TdF?

Any believers?

The problem is that he is consistently underperforming. The only glimpse we have had of AC of old (since his return) has been Fuente De. No sign at all this year.

What was all that nonsense about breaking training records? False hope for his fans

Seems the days of Bertie dancing on the pedals are in the past :( This year he hasn't even shown Vuelta 2012 level :(

Hopefully he will find some good form soon. His team as well; so far they are all under performing.....
