Okay ferryman, you are not worried but I am, and so are lots of other fans. Yes I agree sometimes I can come across a bit pessimistic but it's how I feel :D right now things aren't looking good and only a hardcore fan could ignore this. I am not saying he won't improve at all but I don't think he'll improve enough to avoid getting crushed by the skyborg. I even think Andy might beat him, who would've thought that a few months ago. He is riding around like a lost puppy lol. Bjarne, help dude, you are my only hope :D work your magic please

things change. in order to beat froomey you must have plenty of energy in reserve for le tour, you gotta peak like an angel to beat him. bjarne knows it and alberto get the memo. in july, we'll have a showdown that's for sure. alberto will be stronger than he ever was

Another thing at the beginning of the year Bjarne and Alberto didn't know yet that Froome would be the alien he is now, so it can't possibly have been planned out. Besides he has been trying really hard and he seems to be grasping for reasons to explain his **** form but he can't. That's when you get the "bad sensations", "couldn't find the rhythm", "the body is tired" excuses. He doesn't know what's going on either. That's what is worrying me the most. When you know what's wrong you can try to fix it. If you don't know what's wrong then you can't.

Please try and step back and RELAX! He knew exactly what he was up against with Sky this year. His racing has showed this. And, IMHO he has been a little bit cute in some races with this in mind. Not worried. Look how Sky were dismantled today. If Andy ge's back in the mix all the better.

I think Froome will show a better form than Contador in the Giro. Let's see.

You think? I'am sure he will show better form, but not much better obv, Contador form was very close to what's humanly possible, Froome will be just on the limit

What makes you think I am not relaxed right now? Ok I won't comment on the cute part :D he tried to win in every race except PV and to be honest I think he didnt try because he knew he was never going to win. He didn't feel strong. Sky were dismantled today. Okay. But "today" (yesterday) was a race with lots of short hills. In TDF there are only high mountains. The sky train can handle the long mountains, we've seen that before. They struggle on classic type parcours but those are nowhere to be found in TDF.

looooooooool

You got an open line to Alberto? You got his full and complete training schedule? You know the plans the team and Bjarne have laid out forward the tour for Alberto? You got insight in where he is supposed to be with his training at this moment of time?
NO, so please, give it a rest Laflo, your just disapointed hes not living up to your expectations right now, but you have no idea or knowledge whatsoever what Bjarne and Albertos plans are with his training, and to be honest, since his results wont count anyway, they can afford to approach the entire season with some level of conservatism.

Relax woman, wait until the tour, if he really do have problems it will soon enough be displayed there.

Although it is a longshot This does lend credence to the possibility of bluffing prior to TDF. His position in races thus far this season mean squat.

No problem but take a step back and review the season so far from an AC point of view. Negatives: He has been at 75% at best, he has been on his own (team wise) largely. Positives: He has been competitive (at 75%) since January, Sky haven't really managed to do a number on him, his team are at last starting to show some sort of form and the biggest plus for him potentially is that Andy might just be getting some form back also.

You really are a half glass empty sort of girl;)

Clutching and straws come to mind. Bertie has not had the beating of most of the top guys since he came back from his ban. His form is going to have to be a lot better, he doesnt have the team and the field is not going to be Vuelta like. Generally has has been average at best.

Hope the Saxo team has the same sort of shape development like last year before the Vuelta, Paulinho from not being able to follow his breakaway buddies over a single hill in the tour became the nr.1 team mate a month later :)

Strange conversation. Its far more difficult to find a holiday destination where they will show a bicycle race on tv than it is to find one that wont.
