Contador really likes Matteo since giro '11. He really wanted him in the tour team that year.

I dont think that Noval will be in,he has had different race schedule so far.He is probably for Vuelta.

This team is looking so so good on paper.Paulinho,Mateo and Nicki to protect on the flat,Jesus and CAS for semi-mountain,Roche,Rogers and Kreuziger for high mountain.If they are on form(which is unlikely) they could be almost as good as Sky,but...

Sky will like this no?Froome,Wiggins,Kiri,Porte,Lopez,Eddy,Thomas,one colombian and Stannard maybe

Been several articles today in the Danish media, linking him to the tour squad.

It sounds like there's a bigger chance that he will ride the Tour, than the other way around.

I guess laflo was right. Contador will get less money in the next years so he has to move to switzerland for compensation.

Although that is one of the reasons that is not the main one i would think.

Riis has advised the core of his tour squad to move to Switzerland, Paulinho has already moved there before the start of the season and Contador was supposed to move around that time as well. This way they can train together and are in the center of europe which makes the logistics of going to races and having trainers with them at all times much easier.

If i agree with laflo you gotta suspect i'm just kidding although for sure it played in a bit, not much prob though.

True aswell. Alberto's hometown had enough mountains but not that high.

And what Parullo says seems legit too. Let's hope this will have some effects in july

Moving to Switzerland has normally nothing to do with better training terrain etc., it´s just a tax issue.

In fact, in Switzerland, training can be even problematic - not in summer (they have the best roads possible, great tarmac), but in autumn to spring. It´s an alpine country, winter is hard and long. Lugano is an exception, though, as it´s rather mediterranean.

The guys, however, who moved from all over Europe to the middle and northern parts of Switzerland, all did it for tax reasons. Klöden, Grabsch, Martin, Löfkvist are examples. Ciolek moved back to Cologne after having left Omega, also Kessler left after not returning to the peloton. So you see, as soon as you haven´t reached a certain amount of money, it´s not worth staying there.

Klöden, Evans and Contador certainly have enough money to stay in Switzerland also after career.
