Relax. Im just kidding. Simply contgratutate people on getting clean racing in a bit larger amount than it was earlier, I'd like to hope..

The rogue is back... cycling was better off without him.

I hope that all the guys who proved to be stronger than him in 2011 (A. Schleck et al) + Froome and Wiggins will kick him right back out of competition in the coming year...

When did Froome and Wiggins in 2011 prove to be stronger than Contador?

Nothing great about it at all. If we put his case in a perspective with money you can imagine him robbing a bank youst to levae with 1 dollar

History shows that sometimes people who steal 1$ are put in jail more often than ones who cheat and steal millions.

You're parsing the sentence wrong. It's the people who proved stronger than Contador in 2011 and then in addition to them Froome and Wiggins. It makes perfect sense. grammatically anyways.

I don't know if you can compare performances from different GT's and different years. There's no doubting Froome and Wiggins were in 'amazing' form in this years Tour, but their competition was hardly great was it? And the course was made for Wiggins, the question to ask is(breaking my point above) how would Froome and Wiggins done in the 2011 Giro. I think that Wiggins would have bombed due to all the climbs/MTF's and lack of ITT km.

Naturally, but we should consider dominators make the field weak by their own and the field is rarely condidered weak at the start of the race.. And probably no one but me would say the giro 2011 field had been weak. Everyone would say "there were superclimbers Nibali and Scarponi". So there's no big difference between the 2011 Giro and this Tour.

No offence to the Giro. Like the race a lot.

I presume you mean no big difference in the quality of the competitors and not the courses--because there was a HUGE difference in the qualitry of the courses.

Yes, but the Tour route was always easier than the Giro one, nonetheless due to this fact it doesn't get easier to win the Tour.

My favourite quote: "The Giro climbs are steeper, but the Tour ones are passed as twice as fast". Ivan Basso, before the 2005 Tour, if I recall precise date correctly. :)

and in the quality of the competitors: there was more depth in the 2011 Giro I think.

You think Contador in the 2009 giro shape would of taken this Tour if he'd raced?

He didn't race the 2009 Giro. I'm assuming you mean the 2008 Giro? No, I don't think if he had come into the 2012 Tour with the lack of ideal preparation that was his form going into the 2008 Giro and with this very same parcours, that he would've won. In order for him to be able to win the 2012 Tour he would've needed to attack relentlessly and be at his best in the tt's and I don't recall him ever attacking in the 2008 Giro.
