the forum member calls opponent the freak expressely. no ground for further debate

So in your logic he looks normal. In the world I live in, I have never seen anything more extreme than Froom the freak, yes maybe, but that was in world war 2 or if you are really really sick, so you cant live with that...its your problem.
So...again..for the 10th times or 20th.. stop trolling, if you have something intelligent to contribute with be my guest.

If you want extreme then wait until you see Basso on Zoncolan! :D

You mean except from his 6 wins already this year compared to his only 1 victory for the whole year in 2013, yeah I see theres no difference, its so obvious, how could we all miss that.

Well said. Anyone who can't see the difference in Alberto in 2013 (chasing form all season) to the 2014 'damn I have great form' Alberto must be wearing blinkers.

The question is can he peak again, even higher for July? That has to be managed exactly right!

I think people are overhyping Velasco way too much.
Can't see anything different than last year come July.

lol !. This is a joke ?. Maybe you are a fan since 2012 ?. Even Froome himself would disagree with you.

aaahhh carols.. come on. He will and he can. coz he is the great one. :D. Beside contador is very meticulous. I remembered reading his former TT coach (forget his name, he is now in australian cycling academy or something), he said about contador meticulous attention of details. With good base and boost of confidence, we'll see contador v.3.0 with turbo boost

as far as freak comment, i would say that sky obsession of loosing weight to the point of extreme anorexic that I would call freak.:D (Look at Froome and Wiggins 2012. it was too scarry. Even a super model looks healthy). I like how contador, quintana, purito, valverde look like. They are lean but not to the point of extreme anorexic.:p I guess that how far sky will take 'marginal gain'

Ahhh he will Carol, don´t worry about it, he will turn up in his best shape possible, and stronger than ever, I´m sure of it.
Whatever it is enough to win it, we just have to wait and see, I´m also pretty sure a confident Contador will be so much tougher for Froome to handle, and I am also still convinced Tinkoff will have the best team in July, and that could turn out to mean a lot. All the hype that Froome is getting is based on last year, he still have to show and prove he can match the same level of form, which I doubt, one of the few who could actually do that with such same dominance , and year after year was mr....what was his name?, it was a guy from Texas I think...well, lets first see what the freak can bring too.

Ok now the only thing freakish is your obsessive Froome trolling

Let's just look forward to what will be a great race. If Contador wins then I will be the first to congratulate him, if Froome wins there will be way too much bitterness from some to handle.

I don't see how Froome couldn't repeat it year after year. Big mig did it, Contador did it for years.

It will be much closer than last year but I can't see Froome losing overall (barring injuries). Don't get me wrong, I'm a Contador fan but I have to be realistic given what we have seen of Froome.

Yes we know Contador is focused on winning, However you think Froome doesn't want to win either and isn't obsessively focused on another Tour win? Just wanted to win isn't enough, you need to be in perfect shape. Whoever wins this Tour will 100% deserve it.

You are ignoring my point. AC will be fit enough, but what AC has in attitude is tenacity. I don't think Froome thinks that way. Sure Froome wants to win but AC's focus is just that more acute.

Problem is that most of people think that Froome is a some mighty climber or what lol:rolleyes:
He is not much better than Schleck in his best years. If Alberto shows up improved even from TA,he is going to drop him somewhere (at least in 3rd week). He will tire Froome, thats my bet.

Schleck at his best was dropping AC though:D

I don't know Froome beyond his actions on the bike and I can say that all signs are that he is a tenacious competitor willing to go that extra mile (i'm not making sly clinical references here) to win (thinking his rather extreme weight loss) and his unwillingness to cede victories to his top competitors (he was rather ruthless with Contador last year; snatching victories from him even when it didn't matter to his overall standing). I think the Dawg is rather ruthless on the bike to be quite honest. It's one of his traits that I admire.

Doesn't matter if he doesn't drop him though. Froome TT is enough. This could be repeated 1000 times between now and July

We will see how the TT goes once they have ripped into each other for 3 weeks !.

Froome did well in the flat TT at the end of the 2012 tour. AC does perform better in TTs during GTs though :)

Schleck was a better climber than AC at 2010 Tour. Only by a fraction though!

hmm not really. Come in july, let the best man win. We are all here believes, with how Contador have performance so far in his early season, this year, it will be a more even battle than last year. And that's what we are cheering for. :p

agreed completely with Publicus comment. Last year, it's almost not enough for Froome to win it but he has to stomp on contador's head and walked all over him to proof his superiority. I thought he was ruthless and he was out there on every opportunity to suffocate Contador to even smell a win whether for a stage or overall. To say that Froome doesn't has the winning instinct, it's like saying a bee doesn't sting :D. Ow, he is ruthless and competitive alright.. just like "our great one'.

That is truly debatable. I'd say they were even at best.
