A pattern?
Yes, Alberto Contador says something, the answer is to predict that he'll say other things in the future. Things that of course every cyclist that had a GT basically assured with 5-10 or whatever days to race has said in the past.

Nibali is number one, Contador said it, deal with it.

Damnit, I forgot about CN forum rule number 16.

"Never post in a way that someone else can understand but still choose to completely **** up the meaning to fit his or her own agenda"

On another note, I'm seriously considering buying a team kit for the first time. Tinkoff's new training kit (which is some really smart marketing):

He has also said that Froome has been the hardest competition he has ever had. He has also said that Nibali is one notch below Froome. What should we believe?

Training kit doesn't do that much for me, but at least there's no damn black involved.

I can't imagine AC fat…he's basically all limbs.

Yep... plus he is naturally very slender

Yeah. He looks kind of normal-lean, if a bit thin after a GT. Froome and some of the taller riders (well, GT contenders) look like they have a serious illness. I keep thinking 'brittle bone disease' every time i see them.

For some reason I thought Sagan would be able to ride in the training kit, but I guess since it is Tinkoff Saxo kit (not Cannondale) he's not allowed.

EDIT: Sagan seems to be saying, "how the f*&k are you guys riding in the big ring?!?!?!?' :p

Alberto just said that Nibali was the nr.1 in the TdF, which he obviously was since he finished 1st. I doubt he said that Nibali is the nr.1 :)

What he said about Froome are words he meant and I think he still does, but that's guessing. Contador is well aware he didn't have the best Froome to beat at the Vuelta, but neither was Contador.

Doesn't look too chubby :)

Kreuziger is next to Contador right? He looks fit for someone that isnt allowed to compete.

I really liked the Kreuziger at Saxo-Tinkoff so I kinda hope gets to race again. Then again if the specialists really can see dodgy stuff in his passport he deserves the ban. Somehow I kind of hope not though.

Yes I agree with you. I was responding tongue in cheek to that previous post. :)

We should believe the Froome comments, Ventoux might play a part in this.

He is being respectful of Nibali after he won the Tour, classy. He complimented Schleck too. Alberto believes he is #1, no doubt about it. I doubt he feels Nibali can hang with him in the mountains, too much evidence to suggest otherwise. Froome I believe, Contador fears him. Cant get time in the TT from him and dropping Froome with 2013 form is not easy. Also at the Dauphine Stage 2, Froome almost dropped Contador, a metre or 2 bike length opened up. In Alberto's great 2014 season, Stage 2 attack from Froome had Contador in the most difficulty to follow. I personally dont care about the double. I want to see Froome vs Contador with the usual build up that most of the best GT riders take. Contador thru that off. I wish it was different with the Dauphine serving as the appetizer. Giro win, for me, doesnt mean much. I know some posters think Contador dropping Froome later in the Dauphine was meant something, to me it obviously doesnt. Froome crashed. The Vuelta neither were on form. I want answers but I wont get them next year.
