damn-It'd have been so sweet have those 3 had made the last TDF Podium....

Anyways- I am certain Alberto will get better as the season progresses-most importantly he's goal orientated & hunger for victory, so those podiums in Oman & Italy will only make him more determined to win the Tour. We also have to acknowledge how odd his last seasons have been due to his ban & the lapses of not racing in between rulings, which affects his natural rhythm-remember last year he spent it "training" for the Vuelta & the couple races at the end of the season, just to jump on the "regular" schedule after a couple weeks of rest. Even If results aren't coming easily, I still like him a lot because of his attacking style & warrior attitude.

Just wait and see of course still a lot can happen but if Froome doesn't get injured and Alberto doesn't go through some crazy unnatural improvement in the next 4 months Froome will be the man to beat.

Jesus Christ woman. Unnatural? how many riders have ever been able to keep a year around peak as AC had in 09 for example? Not that many. Most riders peak for thier targets ( a gc or a classic) every race leading up to their targeted races means very little (See guys like Menchov). AC is now 30 years old, these year around peaks are naturally getting harder, but there will be nothing "unnatural" by him getting a giro 11 peak this July.
