as an admin i have to read all the "hot spot" threads of this forum as much as it displeases me and even tho i am a big contador fan, reading this thread has been displeasing for months now, much before contador started to underperform

What has changed in the last months then? Since his underperforming has nothing to do with it as you say. Wasn't this always filled with Contador-pics?

Many have bailed from what they see as a sinking ship. They will shamelessly return when things brighten up again (in their eyes) as I'm certain that they will. Plus Airstream's counterpoint to any positive Contador post has been absent due to his ban.

I agree with parrulo on some part though, this thread is not about laflo but about Contador, pm her if you want to know something about her.

Anyway if Contador doesn't do the ardennes we'll see him back i think in the dauphine.

Lord I hope he doesn't do TOC. 2nd rate race and yes I live in the USA. No need for the jet lag, etc. Bertie needs to use his energy wisely from here on out.

If he's not doing the Ardennes he should have entered Romandie. He does need some racing in his legs, or is he afraid he'll be demoralized if he loses to Froome and Porte again.
Don't think he'll ride TOC. Asturias is probabaly his alternate option in May.

I live in the US and it my hope that he NEVER rides that phony grand tour TOC. Talk about being demoralized.

Not necessarily, Contador didn't ride anything after basque in '09 until the dauphine.
