nah.... don't think so...

Remember, these are all just people from Pinto. Not cycling fans. They love him and are proud of him.
certainly cycling there is not that popular as in your country or belgium.;)

still always great support for Alberto.

Of course. But like I said these aren't cycling fans. They're fans of Alberto.

Many of them have probably known Alberto since he was a wee lad.

Don't matter, people in belgium would move to his city cause he lives in it.

Asked in Pinto about what would have happened hadn't he crashed at the Tour, here's his answer:

"Cada carrera es diferente y, aunque ya no se puede ver, sí que digo que en el Tour me encontraba increíble, mejor que nunca en mi carrera deportiva. Estaba, como decimos nosotros, más fino que nunca. Seguro que habría hecho un buen papel, pero el año que viene estaremos allí y veremos qué puedo hacer" "
" Voy a hacer todo lo posible para prepararme y para llegar en las mejores condiciones siendo consciente de que es muy difícil, y veremos qué puedo hacer"

translated for you ..

Each race is different, and even though you couldn't see it, I felt incredible, better than ever in my career. As we commonly say, I was fitter than I've ever been.
Sure that I'd have done a good work, but I'll be there next year and I'll see what I can do.
I'll prepare as good as possible to be in optimum condition, knowing that it'll be very hard, and then we'll see what I can do.

I think Contador will work extra hard - he saw the benefit in his condition this year, probably feels mentally that a lot of the 2013 questions have been answered and that can only motivate. I think mentally he'll go into next year in better shape that many - esp. Sky and Froome. Should be an interesting year!!

He'll surely concentrate on reclaiming the Tour crown. So 2015 TdF - Vuelta; hopefully Giro - TdF the following year…I'd love to see him doing the Triple Crown, but he'd surely want to consolidate his dominance before even attempting it…

Lovely to see the home crowd turning out.

Also Uncle Oleg should try to get a even more competitive roster strong enough to have solids teams in all the 3 GTs... I still think that Alberto needs a better team.

I am slightly concerned with how they balance Sagan's aspirations….I agree Oleg needs to get out his chequebook.

I would like to ride the three grand tours in one year but I see it as being very difficult,” Contador told AS. “If I did, it would be with the intention of winning them. But I’d need courses that suited me and a strong team in all three races.

What a Road Warrior; he wants to win them all in one year. Prior to his ban he talked about this also. Alas it will never happen but it shows the attitude of the man!

Only Giro-Tour in 2015. And with the 2014's shape is possible.

The "triplete" is too difficult, if not impossible. He also neee a good luck , not only great legs

2016 is his last chance imo.
Age is not a factor unless you have a better and better motivation to train hard. (Tyson said that, and I think he is right)

Agree with jack89, giro-tour should be epic enough :D

With a few races left of this year and '15 and '16 still at his best (and then either retirement or a season or three after that as well), will he be able to get another 30 victories and break the 100?

Realistically speaking, AC is the only rider who could do a Triple Crown. but he wud need a far better team and a bit of luck.

I dont exactly know how many victories he has. cud u plz tell the count?

if he attempts a double or a triple, i dont really yhink that he can win 30 races in two years.
