OH, why not? I don't mind branding myself and contributing to charity and since I'm going to the Giro and Tour next year, I may as well advertise my allegiance. At least it'll stop everyone assuming I support TeamSky because I'm English!

If it suits, I'll donate to Cerebra, a charity for brain injured children here in the UK, which I've supported for years now. Seems fitting, in the circs.

Not sure what small means, but if not my size 10 frame, then my young niece will quite happily wear it every day, since she's a little Contador fan also (isn't brain washing wonderful?!) PM with what you deem reasonable donation.

LaFlo - honestly, it never occurred to me you were trying to look kind - only that you were being!

Anyway, I've made a small donation to Cerebra from all on this thread. I'll post confirmation from them, probably in the New Year as I'm not sure they are open now.

May I say it's a lovely idea of yours, ferryman.(Though from your last post, I'm beginning to suspect you have some kind of hotline to Tinkoff-saxo !)

Andalucía's route is a very appropriate preview of the TdF route; and I guess that's why both Contador and Froome will race it.

Not sure he's overlooked it. Although there ins't much to like in his stage designs, he's very clever adding new climbs to his race, revisiting them often to turn them into 'classic' climbs (e.g. Valdepeñas), or building up on harder variations of them (e.g. Ancares). We'll see Alto de Allanadas in La Vuelta sooner or later, but this is a discussion that belongs to a different thread.

Yep, Poljanski is a very solid climber. A lot more surprising to see Bruno Pires, I didn't even knew he had a contract.

Who cares? Contador won the giro in 2011 with a **** team and that was against a great field.

Contador can win even with 8 kittels.

It'll make a difference to how much energy he will have to spend to defend pink. It will matter for the Tour what team he had in the Giro.

Oh yea cause uran and aru will deal devastating attacks in the mountains They won't do anything at all, aru will get 2 stages. He'll try it once like nibali in 2011 and then realise he's completely outclassed.

If uran does one attack to Contador i'll get a boonen avatar in june.

The rest aren't even worth mentioning

The bigger issue is that contador shouldn't waste energy like in 2011.

Or Tinkov can hand his interests over to El Nano.
