I don't think Contador must team up with anyone. It's only the 1st week and when right time comes he'll be at his best.

I guess we'll see tuesday, but i don't think contador can straight up beat froome. I don't think froome will crush contador like he did in 2013 though but yea we've to wait and see.
Marlene said:I so want Contador to beat Froome and even better win the Tdf this year but after watching these two at the tdf 2013 and to my surprise see Froome being better than AC I am not so sure. I missed the Giro this year. Question so are we not allowed to discuss doping at all now? My first post using my cell.

If it really happens he should immediately end his career, after the stage. As he may lose the wheel of Froome on 850m 7% ? it would be ridiculous.
i think among the contenders nothing will happen, but ,of course, we shall see something more of their shape
No , not at all.VayaVayaVaya said:Matteo. said:Froome CAN put seconds on Alberto..today?! Are yValverdem ç

You're being sarcastic right? Froome already dropped him in a flat sprint and a steep uphill finish, so wouldn't be surprised if he gains some seconds on a finish between the two. As long as Contador keeps it close and stays mentally strong until the rest day, I think he has a shot to round into form and win this.

You go by bike? You know what it means 800m 7%? It's ridicolous for most of the peloton , obvious sprinters like Greipel and Cav will be dropped , but for the others sucking wheels ,they don't realize it even. Only guys as Sagan , Valvderde ans Degen sprinting could do small gaps. You will see
LaFlorecita said:I agree it would be worrying if he gets dropped by Froome here. Remember, he could follow Froome on Mur de Huy until he (Alberto) tried to follow Purito in a steep corner and blew up. 800m @7% shouldn't be an issue.
Miburo said:I can't believe people can be this biased to the extent that it makes them blind.
Contador was behind froome when the crash happened. And someone it's unfair contador didnt get an edge on froome when he almost crashed and had to sit up? LOL
Miburo just wants to spout his hateful bile around as usual.Matteo. said:@miburo , none in this discussion said something like that

Hi Arredondo, congratulations with Purito the other dayArredondo said:LaFlorecita said:I agree it would be worrying if he gets dropped by Froome here. Are you really serious? He could follow Froome there because Froome hold back. He dropped when Purito and Froome went full gas.
Sometimes it's just better to be realistic.
