More importantly, now that Contador is continuing...

WHAT IS JESUS GONNA DO???

he should have retired 5 years ago, go work at a coffee shop. At least he's somewhat useful for contador then serving his coffee.

Argh it's annoying we've to wait like 7 more weeks to see that prologue in the dauphine, what an awesome prologue. Jens will surely have an orgasm or 2

I have some logic to spread in this thread.

Contador only beat Cadel by 20ish seconds with time bonuses. Cadel beat Froome by tens of minutes in multiple GTs. Froome beat Evans by 5 minutes in a GT. Evans beat Contador by a few minutes in a GT. Contador beat Froome and Evans in a GT. Froome beat Contador in a GT. NIbali has not beaten anyone in a GT but Evans, even though Evans has beaten everyone in a GT except for Quintana.

Through my logic I deduce Contador will defeat Quintana at the TDF and Froome will not start.

I hope he reaches his goals this year and his luck improves at the TdF.

He will, barring any injuries there simply isnt anyone who can beat him if hes in top conditions. People can come here with all their ideas and theories all they want but from a logical standpoint its very simple, if Contador is in 100% conditions and doesnt crash theres simply noone who can beat him STILL in todays cycling in a 3 week GT.

Cry, argue all you want but show me a single fact which shows otherwice then ill bite but since there aint none and I dont care of half the opinons of the lunatics on here ill just let the stats and facts speaks for themself since afterall its more evidence than some of your guys ideas no offence!

**** dude, I think you took it too serious when your momma told you "if you reaaaaaallyyyyy believe in something with all of your heart and mind, it becomes the world truth". Too bad it doesn't work that way.
But opinions are like asses: every body has one :)

Like i said in my post, no single fact to prove otherwise, just meaningless talk by meaningless guys who cant accept the truth :D This **** to funny

Funny. A post with nothing more then an opinion and then the one commenting you has to come up with facts.....

but you allready figured out how silly it was.

I suggest "Vroome" as a suitable replacement. :D

Who wins it between those? Pantani with alpe legs? Armstrong with hautacam legs? Contador with verbier legs? Or my favorite: Ricco with aspin legs? ;)

Re:

Every time I enter in this thread I only ready biblical non-sense, fun fact is: it's extremely funny. One guy claims that it's a fact that Contador is the physical form of god based on the weather and astrology. Other guy claims that you can only criticize cyclists if you ride a bicycle, then you have a group of whiny fans that jump every time someone says "Contador is past his physical peark". Keep going and turn it up a bit, because this is funny. Sad, because we're all grown up, but still very funny :)

However, there is someone that doesn't give a *** about what's being said here and all the ass kissing: the one and only Alberto Contador.

I know all the song, not easy even for an spanish.

Como Camarón! group Estopa. They are from Barcelona suburb, the equivalent to Pinto in all those cities, but their roots are from Extremadura, so they are inmigrants to the city from Extremadura, so the same than Contador family. Thay roots are both from Badajoz province.

That part I like from Contador.

What, what is the part of him that you like, that his roots are in Extremadura or do you mean his taste in music? :p

His kind of origins and life... and although I am from the north I like Estopa as well. I like more things from Contador.

Maybe when Alberto finish cycling I will invite him to go to the party. ;)

What Taxus means is that both the Estopa brothers and Contador (and millions of Spaniards like me) share the same story:

Born to a humble family of rural born parents of the interior and south of Spain that moved to the huge suburbs of Madrid and Barcelona (and to a lesser extent Bilbao, Valencia, Sevilla and Zaragoza) during the big industralisation years of the 60s, 70s and 80s in the second half of the Francoist era and inmediate post-franquism.

In this video you can get a grasp of how life was in those years:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IEGT6ubwWOk

Our grandparents were peasants and agricultural workers raised the hard way; our parents the first generation that had the opportunity to attend massively to university and the generation that fought and won democracy and modernity for us.

The story of modern Spain in 3 generations: a country that evolved from the bottom of the 3rd World to the top of the 1st in just 50 years.

I'm very glad Spain is a democracy now, but Franco's dictatorship was ended only by his death, not by some pro-democracy revolution. Let's not engage in revisionism.
