Just read an account of his experience riding on tubeless. He tells how one of his tires burst out due to a combination of excess pressure and heat. He learned later he had inflated them at 1bar over the recommended pressure and they were also incompatible with his rims. He was lucky it happened during a stop at a bar, but the guys at the next table thought someone had shot a gun and they got down on the floor.

Has this thread really not been bumped on his 40th birthday? Okay, I guess it has now.

How much does he currently weigh?

Too much to be able to keep up with that GCN guy incredibly ! You'd think that even with minimal training a 40 year old ex super champ would be able to drop any hobby cyclist.

It was as amazing as a good game at SlotEire. Personally, I like spending time there.
I had a similar situation. And I almost pooped my pants because of that sound :D
Hi all!

Apparently Alberto had over 100 lipomas removed. I feel guilty about making Contador fat jokes now

Im searching for a full brodcast from the last stage of paris nice 2016 and 2017. I havent found anything on youtube. Do you know where ican find it.
Preferably with English commentators.

Im a huge fan an this two stages were some of the greatest races in his whole career i think.
I would really like to watch it again.

In 2016 the coverage didn't start until after Peille, unfortunately. There's a poor video on youtube from the start of Èze to the finish:

In 2017 the coverage did include Peille, but the only video on youtube is of the last 20 km:

https://tiz-cycling.io had videos of the stages, but most of the oldest ones are dead, including for those two stages.

I've been struggling to find youtube video(s) showing some internal commincation within the Astana team during TdF2009. During the stage 17 Johann Bruynell is seen in the team car trying to persuade Contador not to attack and then getting really angry after Contador did attack.

I think it was (they were) videos with comments showing how Armstrong and Bruynell tried to prevent Contador from winning teh TdF.

Does anyone have a link to that/those?

thanks a lot

I'm pretty sure the scene you're talking about is in the documentary 'The Armstrong Lie'. It does indeed show Bruyneel getting angry in the team car when Contador attacks with the Schlecks. It's currently available on Netflix (at least, in my territory). I couldn't find the scene on YouTube, but a snippet about the Verbier stage is online:

ah, ok, thanks, so it was a teaser or a trailer I saw probably. I'll check it out.

It really made me happy to see Bruynell so angry I must say :-D
