Damn, that is sad to hear:(

I mean its not like it isnt going to be half the current Saxo team - Navarro, Hernandez, Noval, Contador. Christ couldn't contador just bring better people to saxo?

Or did he get a good offer from that Santander thing or something?

What the? That came out of nowhere. So did I get it right, they're gonna set up a whole new team around Alberto? Might not be such a bad idea.

:( :( :( :( Who's gonna ride for that team.

(Maybe it's the Alonso idea? You know, that idea from 2009?)

Actually, probably it'll have more quality riders than Saxo would, especially if it is the Alonso idea

But you need to understand! Bjarne&Berto is the perfect combination.

Maybe my dislike for Bjarne is making my judgements clouded, but I personally just don't see how it is that they are

No particular reason as such. I am saying lets wait for more details.

it didn't even make the news...
riis will put his stuff together....who knows, maybe those banks will be one team lol:eek:
alberto needs a stronger team anyway but with riis in charge.

Also thinking, do Spanish banks really have any money to be spending it on sponsoring cycling right now?

The basque bank which, thank god, invested in the basque races luckily did. Not sure about the other banks.

So Berto wont ride for Riis after the Vuelta?

R.I.P. SaxoBank-Sungard

If Saxo has signed him they would have gone down to PC level now that they will have free money they can use to get guys like Fuglsang who are guaranteed points and will increase their chances of staying up.

Berties head is twice the size of that of a cow.

I think we have the proof we were looking for, for the Contador's head thread in le clinic.
