An interesting story about a former football player that IMHO, tells volumes of what it's like to be a pro athlete.
The summary is: the player was indifferent to the concussions. We've heard this one before, if he wanted to play pro ball, then concussions, like doping in cycling were part of getting/keeping a contract.
