your logic is idiotic.

It's a bit like a major criminal being caught, and then people saying "oh there were lots of others who were doing similar in the past and never got caught, so let's let this guy off too, even though he did worse than them"

The difference is that many of those guys have admitted it, or just keep quiet and have gotten on with their lives. They aren't going around acting like a saint and threatening and punishing anyone who dares to question them, and few (if any of them) are continuing to get rich as a consequence of their dishonesty.

riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight....................

thank you..........another doper who won tours:D
Sure. And that's why Tour winners keep getting busted for doping, like Riis, Pantani, Ullrich, and Landis were, and Armstrong is most likely about to be, and Contador probably will be sometime in the future. And that's sort of the point, isn't it, when it comes to busting dopers? No exceptions, not even for someone of Armstrong's stature.

I have said this before, you do the crime you do the time.

As 'Bro' pointed out earlier there are provisions within the WADA code for a reduction in sanction for co-operating, indeed Landis rejected this offer back in 2006.

If the likes of Michael Barry or Dave Z are now riding 'clean' then the smart move for them is to meet with their respective cycling federations at their earliest convenience.

I have no doubt that most, if not all, of the names Landis named were active dopers. However the way the rules work at the moment there's no incentive for them to fess up because they'll immediately get slammed with a 2 year ban.
For example Sky's Michael Barry and Garmin's Zabriskie both have every incentive to keep schtum. But offer them an amnesty for past misdeeds and we might finally get closer to cleaning up the sport and settling once and for all any lingering doubts anyone has that Armstrong doped his way to all his TdF victories!

Sorry. Amnesty is only allowed if your name is DiLucca, Valverde,Simoni, Boonen, etc.
Amnesty is not allowed for American, Australian, New Zealanders,Canadian,British, riders because as we know cycling is an European Sport.
May the UCI and affiliated organizations keep true to the traditions

Sorry, Britain is one of our colonies. We let them use our language and share our politics. In a few hundred years our colonies in Uzbekistan Afganistan and IraQ might get on the ball too and share our democracy and language.

I'm Canadian, so unfortunately these parasites do hold some sway. As far as BP, they own it. The City of London is a corporation like Washinton, D.C. so it's outside the "norm'. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/City_of_London

`Your monarchy'? We inherited a family of underemployed German royalty of the House of Hanover who linked by marriage with the house of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld, and then changed their name to `Windsor' to cover their real background. I'd like us to get the Plantagenets back, they were fun.

No wonder my great-grandparents booked out of Hanover somewhere east of Bremen/which I think was Prussia back then. To avoid the scandal.
