Isn't he the same guy who jumped over Cav in the stage where Ferrari caused Cav to crash?

The nickname has to include some flying angle as well, not sure what though.

I would go with A-Bomb (easy to spell/write)

even though he should be named Guangkawi

Guardini + Langkawi = Guangkawi

We need a thread like this to survive 'til tomorrow. :)

Great, great sprint by Guardini today. Never seen Cavendish beaten so straight in a long time. Maybe he got tired by the intermediate sprint?
it is difficult because whenever cavendish doesnt win it is because he was not trying :S but good for guardini I thought he was destined for the tour of langkawi a great win for him I wonder if he will be able to keep it up and improve more, didnt seem to be going so well this year.

" Guardini the Cav Crusher "

Just hope that the Cav Crusher has more class than Cav himself.

What was that petulant little outburst at the end towards Guardini?

The spoiled brat can't even lose with any grace or dignity.

Best wishes to Guamborghini in the future.

Many of us will enjoy watching the utter dismantling of the Cavopottamus.

You are still surprised by this? Unless it's Greipel this has been the case since 2008...

He's won one sprint. AND it was a sprint that Cav miss-timed. It's not the first time Cav has bungled a sprint and it will not be the last.

"The one sprint wonder" :)

I am sure he's talented and I am sure we will see more of him but i think it's a bit early to talk about Cav's demise!

We'll see.

You obviously havent been watching much this season. He hasn't just won one sprint. He's been on fire since January.

Sprinting isn't just Grand Tours....

I was thinking similar thoughts when Cav first beat McEwen in 2007....

Good to see people taking the thread title to heart.

Anyone watching riders 3, 4 and 5 on the overhead relative to Andrea & Cav could see this was a case of Andrea living up to his previous performances, but no more, and Cav having a woeful day.

Great win for Guardini though, glad people have finally come around to this band wagon, if a little late.

Seems just a little dismissive. Races after the Giro will clarify whether that was a big win or not.
