I will never understand how Sastre and Evans managed to win the Tour and a (in my opinion) superior GC rider like Klöden couldn´t even win a GT stage. As stated before. A long list of what ifs...2006, 2007,2011.

I think to win the Tour, you have to want to win the Tour.

Imho, Klöden always wanted to earn big money, and help others to win the Tour. Ullrich, Winokourow/Contador, Armstrong.

He would have been Ullrich‘s Sepp Kuss in the mountains of the 2006 TdF…
