the guy who came 1st in 2010 cheated. if schleck came 2nd to someone on a motorbike would he not be the true winner?!

officially he didn't cheat and the amount wasn't performance enhancing. He got a sentence even though he was deemed not guilty by the judges. only in sports law

How can I take you seriously when your signature contradicts your legends list?
So one can't be both a legend and overrated? So it's impossible to overrate Contador and Boonen?

why do you include well-known drug cheats in your list of 'legends'?

Why don't you discuss this in the clinic, or is it because half of the threads in there are about your beloved sky team:rolleyes:

I don't consider Ullrich and Lemond legends

Being the first Anglo and American to win the Tour and then win 3 of them is part of what gives Lemond legend status. Add to that his battles with Hinault and Fignon and his legend status is pretty much cemented. How many Tours does it take to make legend status in your eyes?

Deleted material (Sorry Parrulo :p) *Edited by Netserk*

funny that "how a performance looked" isn't considered evidence when talking about sky according to you.

anyway this discussion should continue in the clinic

Imo there is not one magic number of tour victories that gives one legend status. more the entire palmares and the way of racing.

...and with the above post you contradict a previous post where you state Contador has to win 5 more grand tours to make legend status. His way of racing is old school and his entire palmares up to this point is impressive enough to warrant at the least serious consideration . Plus he vanquished the former Tour juggernaut (since erased from the records) while battling inter-team turmoil.

Why is the Andy Schleck thread one of the most frequented on the whole forum?

Because he is a rolling soap opera, with material for discussion neverending. He's the horn of plenty of the pro peloton.

What I mean is that the number is different for every rider. Obviously Boonen is a legend and he hasn't won any GTs. Yes for Alberto at least 5 more GTs and some other stage races, classics and worlds

When in 30 years people are talking about this era of cycling, which riders are they gonna remember the most? I can't imagine Contador en Boonen not being one of them

Contador is a legend. If he retired today he would be considered a legend now and in 20 years. No doubt.

Indeed. What is the rider discussion thread with most replies ;) almost no bashing there :)

You do do not allow bashing there. In that thread you jump on every anti-Contador post and label it unequivocal trolling. In this thread Andy can be mocked by you (and others) freely

But why  I mean his palmares is great but by far not as impressive as those of cycling's all time greats.
