Apparantly Andy and Fuglsang have fallen out. Oh young love :p ;).

He says Andy does not have the desire or will to train hard enough and he is suprised he is still riding as he has no passion at all. He only rides for the money.

He is moving, I think back to Italy, because he does not want to live so close to Andy (who lives in the apartment above him), when they are no longer talking.

I don't know when this interview was made, but it is one of those tour mags, so it could be a while ago.

I love the headline from the tour mag cover 'Fuglsang's wet dream - "One day I'll win the Tour"'. Sorry, you won't... Horrible interview otherwise, no need for him to say that and if they don't even talk anymore it's not like he can say anything about Andy today.

Interesting... would be good to read the full interview though.

Few things right off the bat though - as you say the interview could have been made a while ago. For the last part of their time together at Radioshack Andy was injured and for a long time couldn't train for more than a couple of hours. I believe that he did not show much passion back then. But in the new season I doubt they have seen each other much. I think they have had completely different schedules and at least Andy has been on record saying that he has barely been at home since January. So I doubt that there were many opportunities where they could have trained together. Basically I would guess that they just haven't seen each other in quite some time, or at least not spend much time in the same place together at all, despite living in the same building.

So I think what he said might have been true some time ago but not necessarily today. What we saw in California does not work with Fuglsang's statements - if I interpreted google translate correctly he was speaking about Andy just cruising along and sitting in the bunch, while he went into two breakaways and gave it all in the TT in his last race.

The "only riding for money" thing does seem to come back frequently though. Anyhow I hope that there was no "falling out" although if their friendship wasn't wrecked before this interview it sure will be after. Fuglsang seems to have a tendency to speak very openly and frankly to the media, which is entertaining but has also caused him some criticism on the forum for example.

Would be funny to see Andy, with no training and no motivation, finish ahead of Fuglsang in the Tour, which I believe is a distinct possibility :D Although I also wish all the best to Jakob, he finally got what he wanted, now he's got to show that he has what it takes!

Google translate ???

Since when did you stop being danish... whats next, Flo not being spanish ???

My thoughts exactly, that this interview is pre California. These kind of mags are always filled with stories that are months obselete.

We miss something here... it is not normal for him. He try to put appart him Schleck brother for something we dont know. He was always very friend. He is maybe false.
Interview must be before Liege, other way is difficult to understand.
He say the same than Andy`s haters-trolls say...but he was always the king of the party at his side...

Hope to see Andy in a good form in Suisse, something as Valverde in Dauphiné.

Andy Schleck. Outstanding athlete. Outstanding personality. Outstanding magician. And I believe in another resurrection, just because Andy, a rider who bewitches.

We have seen that Froome appears to be a bit stronger than Contador in the mountains. I wonder how much Sky has considered the Andy angle. Could a top form Andy distance Froome?

What do people think? I know it's been ages since we have seen Andy at peak form but assuming he can reach the same peak will he be better?

Think Andy 10 would perhpas take a few seconds, but not nearly enough to gain back the time he will lose in any form for tt

Andy in '10 form would hurt Froome in the mountains, no doubt.

Still think there is a fair chance he will be in good shape in the tour. Not enough for podium however.
