Well not so much pro-Contador as anti-Andy conspiracies. I have uncovered several over the years, so far no action has been taken which means this goes all the way to the top

To the top of what?:D I've always got the impression that the forum, at least the PRR side was more pro-Contador than pro-Andy and that includes some of the moderators/admins. I guess they find it hard to be completely impartial.
That seems to have changed since his injury and his struggle to return to form. Many here including myself have softened their stance towards him and are actually rooting for him. Whether the mods/admins have altered their approach remains to be seen. I'm not on here as much as many of the regulars, especially on weekends so I can't really judge.

On Andy's performance at the Tour - I think we will have a lot of answers from the Tour de Suisse. If he does not do well here then come the tour - i dont think he will be prepared. Also just saw some of the stages in TdF - the descents will be tough for Andy - yes in the past he has descended well but after the injury I dont expect him to descend as well. We all know with Andy its a lot mentally as well as physically. So Wiggo and Andy probably both dropped on the descents...

Andy didn't particularly look at the races in the ToC, don't expect him to pull any trees up this year.

Any rider's form in California says little about their form for the Tour. Anyone looking to peak for July shouldn't be in top shape two months before. As for Andy: of course there must be doubts about his shape for the Tour de France, but his ToC wasn't bad. In fact going in some breakaways and doing nothing in the GC is what he has always done in races building towards the Tour.

Any news on Mr Schlecks progress? :)

On France 3 Alain Gallopin was reported as saying that they had just finished a spell of training, including Alpe d'Huez, and that Schlecklet was progressing well....

Thanks! Though it does not mean much, what else is he supposed to say... I have not seen any interviews after the training camp. I figure in one or two days the pre-TdS interviews will start rolling in, by then we'll know a little bit more about how he feels about his form hopefully

I'm not expecting miracles. I think it is the politick thing to say, but it is also natural that he would improve as the months go by.

you don't do reconnaissance of the climbs for nothing. andy is there in july to win the tour or at least podium that's for sure

Sightseeing I think. He admitted that he has improved but doubted he would be competitive until next year. Can't see it happening this year but the Tour will be more interesting if he does perform well.

My prediction as of now would be top-10 at the very best, most likely top-20. But let's talk again after the TdS, then we might know more!

I thought the idea was to get familiar with the unfamiliar. We don't know what form he will have come July (or more specifically late June) and I don't think he's certain. I really can't see him making that big a jump in form to being capable of making the podium or even climbing with the podium contenders.

Not sure about that. the news about Frank got fired from the team might shake up him mentally and his motivation. He never be away or in different team from his bro. Andy saga continues...

Becca can sack Frank until he is the owner of the team.
Maybe Andy can ask to have Frank back when the team is owned by Trek and the manager Guercilena.
remember Frank has been part of training camps, always trained in team clothes and is still on the team website.
if they wanted to show him the door that's not the way you do it

It would be difficult to imagine Andy in other team than Frank. He said that will never happen.

But he has now more madurity, and he is not as big star as he was, and lees his brother. He could have no chance.

So it would be interesting to know how this unfold

Andy riding without Frank will not improve his performance and will probably stress him out so much it will make him worse.

This year he has ridden alone without his bro and it hasn't been that good to say the least.

Yeah but that didn't have anything to do with Fränk's absence I would say
