Schleck has not convinced me yet. He was taking very short turns in the TTT, especially when you compare that to what Evans and Contador were doing with there teams.

That does not say anything at all with regards to Andy his form.. Andy barely took turns in the tdf 11 TTT (if any at all) and got second in that race lol.

That's just the way Andy rolls.

Evans and Contador have always been better TTers than Schleck. The only reason Schleck would have done more work than Contador is if Contador's injuries were telling still from his crash. Thankfully from the race's PoV they weren't.

There's a world of difference between having or lacking a Cancellara in a TTT. Could be that hanging on in 2011 was more impressive than taking some pulls in 2013.

He even take some pulls in 2011 at the begining. This year he pulls more ofen and long pull. He was at a good level, but yes, I agree with you, I think he was at the same level than 2011 (the team was fighting for the stage) never more, but that is a good signal.

The stronger riders vs the clock take the longest turns. Having Andy take long turns in a ITT is a recipe for needless time lost.

So? I don't get your point? I was just saying don't judge Andy's form on a TTT because he will never shine in that kind of thing that's all.

No new contract for Frank at RS.Andy will abandon soon. :p

Oh well. I guess the management of the team believes that Frank's positive was indeed suspicious and wasn't a result of 'poisoning'
is he going to retire? will he find a different team? where will Andy go? If I was Andy I would stay with the current team since it might do him more harm than good if he were to change teams. After all guys like Monfort, Voigt, Didier, Cancellara are his tour domestiques that he is used to.

Staying with the team would be the best decision for Andy I think. Really hope he stays. Frank will most likely look for a new contract with another team, but may find it kinda hard to get one. Maybe a pro conti that needs results will pick him up and give him a second chance.

Flavio Becca has been for 3 years in cycling but what a troll.

Anyway, will Trek hire Frank for 2014?

Andy is under contract till the end of 2014. Not good

The problem is Andy does not have the status he had in the past, in 2010 when they signed for Becca's team. The team leader is Cancellara and they stated to focus on classics.

I bet in the eyes of Trek (and Becca) Andy is right now massively overpaid and doesn't expect anything from him. Maybe a trick to force Andy to break the contract throught his brother.

However we must wait to see what plans Trek has. Cancellara is the team leader and they will spend to hire riders to help him. Grand Tours are now secondary. Andy will have to make a decission.

I think Andy like a team boss of riders will easily cope Frank's case. Frank's future, here it is both literally and figuratively — Team Radioshack-Leopard (its name is irrelevant)

Bolded: Spot on. Clusterf-k if ever there was one.

Rest: All contracts are void when the ownership changes IMO so everyone needs to re-sign or else are free to leave.

But I agree with what most here have been saying, Fränk will be signed by Trek, or at least get an offer.
