he won the tour, got 3 stages (herculean task for any gc contender in the tour) and was a runner-up. isn't the 2nd place a result? only moronic criticasters can think so. though, go ahead, consider it was nothing in order not to lose such a big field for fun. the situation when forum members allegedly know how he should prepare for the tour makes me laugh. a rider and his team - i mean literally personal coaches, physiotherapists, consultants - know about all that many times as much as even the most sophisticated cycling fan.

Getting second means nothing and neither do stages gifted by someone who according to you wasn't even in this race :)

What did Andy win last year and this year? Nothing, his palmares is crappy for someone with his talent. We all know it, even you.

I don't care. I dont root for one's palmares. Glorify riders with maximum of titles, if it inspires you more.

Andy would have crushed Contador on the finish line then, since was in great shape and beat Samu on Avoriaz. Contador clearly realized it and just preferred to pretend he made a gift in order to try saving his image that way at least.

No, Schlecks have gotten only gifts from Contador, those wins mean nothing. And neither does his Tour win that he got in the court. Even Andy realizes that ;)

Come back when he wins the real thing, but so far he has achieved nothing last 2 seasons for someone with his talent.

You don't care about palmares? That's another thing you have in common with Andy then ;)

Interesting (but depressing!, as I am probably a frequent complainer in the eyes of my acquaintances)

But perhaps it is just that people who live longer have more to complain about??seeing the same old c**p come round again and again, the human race learning zero lessons from experience:mad:.

He will get about as much credit as Pereiro, which is to say little to none. All the fans know who really won.

"If you take Leopard Trek team out of the last Tour de France (2011), it goes from one of the most exciting Tours de France in all time to frankly not very exciting Tour de France, so in my mind Leopard Trek is the team that made last year Tour de France." Joe Vadeboncoeur

WTF? Did this idiot actually say this? What a f*cking ***! Anything to pump up your team

Eh, right. It had been strange if you would have posted something different. Why do you try to prove something here, if everyone realizes everything, even Andy and me?

Thanks for very pithy advice.

could anyone explain to me what defiantly wrong is in that quote? Where will hatred lead the forum to... Say something like one's knee gave you more entertainment than the Schlecks' attacks.

1) The blue

2) The pink

3) The red

Conclusion:

The whole quote.

Besides, it wasn't a very good Tour for the first two weeks. It was a great final week, but only because they did their utmost to make sure nothing happened except crashing for the first two weeks. When they finally did have to let something happen, LEOPARD TREK® were only happy enough to go for a group ride anyway until they suddenly realised with four days to go they were going to lose.

how europcar could made the race, it they gave neither results nor spectacle? Or do you have other criteria? Making the race doesn't mean making all 3 weeks,

The exiting stages of the tour were: 1) the Stage to Gap; Contador kicked it off. 2) stage to Pinerolo; Contador and Samu descending like mad men. 3) Galibier stage; fantastic attack by AS. 4) Alp d'Huez stage; Contador goes from the gun.

Andy only instigated the action on one of those stages.

Exactly my reasoning. The riders that made the Tour exciting were in my opinion Samu, Alberto, and of course Andy, on that one stage. But if you take the Schleck team out of the tour, you still have the Spanish alliance to spice things up. So I don't agree with Leopard Trek bringing the only excitement in the race.

That's what I keep saying! I doubt it will change though, not on this forum...

you'd have to go to an andy schleck fan-forum or leopard trek forum for that...

because it's pretty much universal in the cycling world how people/fans think about andy and leopard:eek:

(1)To find people that can read?

Sounds good to me.

(2)Derailing threads on the other hand espically when there's one dedicated to that is on the other hand lame.

Actually, judging from facebook they have quite a few fans, it's more the "educated" cycling enthusiasts who have huge problems with them. Personally, I can't really get how you can "hate" a rider. There are lots of teams and riders that I don't support, but I'd never wish for bad things to happen to them.
