Don't you really understand that a 150m altitude hill with 20k of flat after that can't imply a serious attack? It was just a slight probing. Andy picked up the pace, I think, at half of current abilities for a little while and stopped.

All is fair. Airstream refuses to get with the spirit of the Andy Depreciation thread, thus there is a certain balance.

he won the tour, got 3 stages (herculean task for any gc contender in the tour) and was a runner-up. isn't the 2nd place a result? only moronic criticasters can think so. though, go ahead, consider it was nothing in order not to lose such a big field for fun. the situation when forum members allegedly know how he should prepare for the tour makes me laugh. a rider and his team - i mean literally personal coaches, physiotherapists, consultants - know about all that many times as much as even the most sophisticated cycling fan.
