I don't believe a thing of what Andy says. His huge grin in that picture tells me all I need to know.
Good logic:rolleyes:
Why cant you give him a chance for once, what has he done to deserve such irrational hatred.

"It's good to receive this jersey, but it doesn't change much. It doesn't feel like a proper victory", says Schleck. "It's not the same as winning the Tour on the road and taking the yellow jersey to the Champs-Elysées. This is not a celebration, although I'm happy that this ceremony was set up and all the people that I care for are present."

"I won two stages in that Tour and I was wearing the yellow jersey for a couple of days. Everybody who saw that Tour witnessed how Alberto and myself were battling it out for the overall win. He beat me on the road and it wasn't my decision to strip him from that victory. I'm the official winner of that Tour now, but I'm hungry for a victory on the road."

In a way this comment makes me sad though because it will just get discarded without anyone giving Andy a chance.

Don't get me started because I can rant on and on for hours.

He never says that, for example,
-he feels sorry for Alberto
-he doesn't see it as his win
-he still sees Alberto as the winner
Those things would make him a bit more likeable.
But no, he chooses to say that it feels good to get the jersey, but that he'd rather won it on the road.

What is that Hinault?

noooooooooooooooooo

Contadors major fan among the legends and the guy who insulted Schlecks pathetic racing calendar as "if me and eddy had raced that way wed still be racing" or some such.

What are you doing badger?

Hinault is employed by the people that run the Tour de France to give out the Yellow Jerseys so it's just another day at the office so to speak for him. I bet his thoughts was along the lines of : I would still ride you off my wheels even now and I won all my 5 Tours on the road by beeting all the other riders:

For someone who doesn't appreciate Andy Schleck (to say the least) you spend an awful lot of time in the Andy Schleck appreciation thread.

Of course he cant say anything about Alberto because officially he was disqualified for doping so it is his own fault. To say those things would be undermining UCI and ASO:rolleyes:

I'm not going to post what I actually want to post because I don't want to **** off Susan even more, but I think you can imagine what my reply would be.

Do that and you will face a very long ban.

Stop it now. If you want, you can open your very own I Love Alberto thread. But stop spreading your silliness throughout the forum.

Susan

Okay I will do that so that I no longer have to spread my silliness throughout the forum.

Maybe I should start an I Hate Andy thread too.

RSNT just uploaded a video from the Sierra Nevada training camp ;-)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=PuXFGaFoerk

Andy looks really sharp. Weights seems to be right up there, and he seems to be using a higher cadence then last year in both climbing/TT. Also doing plenty of core exercises.

They seems to be spending plenty of time training TT.
His position improved a lot since the beginning of the year.

I think RSNT will smoke the tdf ;-)

I don't expect miracles in TT. It will be a mountain beating mostly. The man from parallel climbing universe will show himself in all his glory.

True but with this better position + making some hours on the TT bike he can def limit his losses in the TT

Yeh, they could straighten his back in a certain way. It inspires some optimism. :)
