My judgment is they were both on the limit. I think a draw is about right. Alberto will be able to claim he still won it, and Andy will have the yellow shirt, so they both have a degree of happiness.

You're however totally ignoring the minute Contador lost on the cobblestone stage when he got stuck behind Frank Schleck and when Cancellara all of a sudden decided to go berserk with Andy in his wheel.
