Thanks for the translation Blues.

I especially like hearing things like this from Andy. :)

Is the results list correct?? Andy finished only 1.20 back, and only 6 seconds behind Froome!

I thought I saw him getting dropped before the last climb? This bodes very well for the Tour. He's bound to get a great deal of confidence from this, the resurgence is on!:)

good ride by andy today. I think he ll be ok for the tour and manage a good GC for the vuelta with his brother. cancellara will be riding that too by the looks of it so it could be the grand tour for him for this season.

I don't believe he'll ride the Vuelta.
Besides he doesn't care for it, it would be too much after the Tour.

Andy should just pull a Ullrich, go to the Giro and do some interval training up&down the peloton to prepare for the Tour.

Miss you Ulle :(

The sad thing is , his career is almost mirroring Ullrichs. Great rider, fabulous talent but enjoys other things in his life as well, which is affecting him against the singleminded and obsessed professionals in the peloton.

Maybe, but Froome is as good a climber as Andy. And he's a much much better tter. So it won't matter.

Froome can be cracked :) The TT will of course be an issue for Andy and any other GC contender. But I think Froome has hubris and lack of tactical savvy that will prove his downfall. Hopefully Andy can play a role in making that happen :)

I'm not sure Andy has a lot of tactical savvy  his tactics in TDF 2011 were pretty horrible. Stage 18 was ok but the other stages...

He doesn't need it, just Stong legs and Froome's Ego will cause him to chase, isolating himself and wearing him out :)

But he will have the sky train to chase:eek: what would be best for Andy is Alberto in ok form who will put in lots of pointless attacks and wears down the skyborgs. then Andy can attack and then he just has to hope Froome cracks

I agree that Froome has an advantage in the TT but Andy is a true goat, who could beat Froome in the mountains

Indeed, an on form Andy can shred Froome....this isn't the Tour 2012.

Well we'll see I guess :) I think Froome is on Andy/Alberto's level right now. "Shred Froome" doesn't seem likely at all.:) People were saying the same thing about Alberto at the start of the season... Froome is just the best climber in the world right now.

Froome's Ego means he will leave his train to follow alone, just as he did in the Vuelta and this year in T-A :) He will isolate himself!

Exactly, if Alberto and Andy were to attack with other riders then Froome would follow them.

Also, If Wiggins wins the Giro then his ego will want the tour as well. It will throw a big spanner in the works as far as Froome is concerned and will benefit Alberto and Andy.

I really really hope that Wiggins is in yellow after the first TT.

no way he can, Chris Froome will be better than year, i mean in February the guy was already flying, it's scary just thinking what's coming
