any video link to Andy's crash at the TT in the Dauphine on line? not that I want to cheer on his crash or anything, that's just classless, more just interested to see how Bob and Paul could say he was blown off his bike. I didn't hear many other instances of that happening that day.

I thoroughly DID enjoy Bob stating what a great descender he is. I so miss Bob's verbal dementia. No matter how many times this poor network changes its name, they cannot shake the stink he brings to the table.

Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like? The Contador thread has lost its legs apparently.

There's some excellent footage here of the crash and Andy's reaction. Also has Andy being coached to get back on the bike and ride on:

i like how every now and then we get to see sudden outbursts of blatant underlying immaturity from the forums greatest aspiring philosopher/philanthropist :D

^ true dat, it's turning 28 on the top of one's game that counts. quite a few legends would agree. wasn't contador also going on the cursed 27 on that fateful september day...

More seriously, I think he should have finished the dauphine. He needs race miles, so why quit? But come tour I think andy'll be around.

Is Andy an eternal optimist or just in plain denial? He didn't finish most of his races because of whatever problems he's going through, he hasn't shown ANY form this season at all, and he expects to be in Tour-winning shape in 3 weeks by riding around the Pyrenees? Especially when Wiggins and Cadel are both showing fine forms?

At least Frank is showing something. I'm not a fan of the brothers, but I'd hate to see Frank be Andy's eternal servant in the Tour when he's clearly in better shape than his brother this year.

After getting through your syntax and breaking out my decoder ring, I realized it could be me you are referencing. I posted several times yesterday, figuring I would get a video link to the video of him being blown off his bike. I think this is like 14 posts in 5 months, pretty far below my prior to January average.

hmmm....and as always...the mods are rather selective in to whom they issue sanctions. A foolish consistency is the hob..... whadevuh

thanks for the video link, it seemed that the wind just really picked up there for a minute but Andy was really tough and only lost about 11 minutes in the TT so I think he should be in fine shape if he has a full tank in the tdf.

What is it about this thread? Well, he is sort of the Alex Rodriguez of cycling only with much less to show for his natural talent (sorry to those who are unfamiliar), so when he YET again fails to even make the effort, let alone place highly, well, you can imagine, well not you personally of course, since you had to ask, but many people will talk about the expectations versus the reality. And still others will be confused why others discuss it. ;) But I hope this sort of clears up the reason why people talk.

Sorry, I ban myself, un impose and re-impose rather whimsically. This board doesn't get a whole lot of respect from me due to its haphazard and inconsistent moderation. I am waiting for them just to say I am banned because they felt like it. It would be at least honest.

Just relax and stop exerting psychological pressure on the legendary athlete. There will be a lot of fireworks and tears in July! :p

Pardon for the crappy syntax.

Andy should crash more often. He brings some extremely insightful people out of hiding.
