good job! that's a lot of downhill, but might be an interesting stage, with the uphill finish.

edit: now that you've added the yellow bit, it doesn't seem quite as dramatic..is the finish practically flat?

the actual finish is flat, theres just a very slight slope on the second half of the circuit..

very hard to route accurately, the roads dont actually exist, have to do it as walking :D

I have ridden this route and it's pretty flat (stage two), the next one should be more interesting as there are a couple o small hills and a fair size one just before the finish so you could see a climber get away for a win, Ballan? I'm going to be at the start and finish of that stage so should be interesting. The first hill in that stage is the same as the final ITT FYI. Pinoti? Or Cancelara? who ever does it could be the winner.

No pics from last night as it was two dark..... typical Oman an hour late and no barriers I thought for sure some one would get hit!!! Did see the police pull some people away for doing stupid things but really poor on the safety. On the positive side I got a great spot to watch the race from!! Good turn out too.

Not live on OmanTV2 yet.

Highlights of last night and some talking head about the stage today.

Hopefully the twitter feeds will better than my attempt last night. You get what you pay for.

Peleton just gone past the talking head on the spot.

I'm guessing that is at the finish point. It was bizzare as the camera must have been at least 500m from the road the cyclist were on.

Credits are rolling and looks like the show is over. Maybe real coverage will start. Maybe...

They are now showing and extended highlights of last night.

It must have been digitally altered as now you can actually see the riders and which team they are one.

I can't believe they have had hours of coverage but not actually showing the race.

Less than 20km to go and still recapping last night!
