I think we all make our own judgements whilst watching cycling but I would prefer to be reserved about expressing such feelings. What is important is what happened and why it happened, not how we feel about it.
Here, you say You think the place for emotional response is during/immediately after the race which is the race threads. Then you say you keep your own opinion to yourself and don't care for peoples feeling for what happened. Hence my statement that you want everything in the race threads and could care less about the feelings (aka depreciation/appreciation) threads. Which leads me to my then don't read threads you don't like option.

See above.

Obviously you are forgetting this is a forum about cycling and all its happenings which include the forum members feelings or is there some small type exceptions about this in the rules no one actually reads when joining?
Ferminal said:Most appreciation/depreciation threads are a result of what happened the day before on the road, so that is why I made that particular link.
This is called discussion, yea its get lame sometimes but it is what it is and again the purpose of the forum. If it is not then there needs to be a general announcement and then cease those options in the forum.
Dancing around it like all the mods are, with we're gonna do this and that is just going to make your forum self implode on itself which seems what all the overly busy mods really want, with a very few exceptions. Maybe its time to get Dan into this and decide what you really want and what he wants and what the company wants and not what the mods are annoyed about this week? Don't forget the precious sponsors I'm sure their ad tracker data will have a word.
