looks like they will make it, no organized chase. I don't know Minnaard, how is his sprint?

edit: anyway, it's Teunissen not Minnaard

Teunissen is petty quick I think. At least for espoir cyclocross standards. But I'm not even entirely sure about that. :p

yeah, looks like, the final stage is pretty tough though, but with Nordhaug and Chernetskiy having the strongest teams as well one of those two will propably win

Chernetskiy might have an advantage with the TTT still to come

Pretty pathatic how Chernetksiy rode, I know its part of cycling but this was bull****. He was their main guy for GC and he didnt do 1 turn at the front. The other 3 were riding at 100%. I know Kristoff was in the bunch but come on, this was really sad.

Chernetskiy made Levi Leipheimer from the old days look like a fantastic contributing rider.

Hopefully he will lose out in GC but im afraid he ll keep it.

Would it be possible to make some sort of circuit?
Or else 10 km sounds like the perfect distance for a short ITT! :D
As already stated here, you could make a tiny circuit in Longyearbyen. Sounds a bit silly to go round and round there though. You could also probably make a ITT with about 6 km.

I guess that could work as a prologue. But traveling all the way to Svalbard for a tiny prologue where everyone freezes their asses off sounds like fantasy talk to me.

Svalbard! Is there not a polar bear danger there? Norway looks stunning on the Eurosport coverage, could be worth a cycling holiday, anybody know where to go & when without getting frozen to death. Used to biting insects & bad weather, Scottish.

I think as long as you go during the summer you won't run any risk of freezing to death.
And, yeah, there are some polar bears on Svalbard. Which is why the gendarmes are going to have big guns!

They're not gonna freeze their asses off during the summer...
But yeah... it is quite long to travel...

Well..There isn't much of a summer on Svalbard.

Some? There are enough of them around that the local government insist that you carry a loaded weapon at all times when out of town.
