CAS seems the obvious choice.

Belgians...rarely do anything in ANY sport except cycling and sports that involve mud.
Yeah, when Belgians start joking about Holland's achievements in football, they've really lost track of reality :)

Ugh... not much choice there. CA Sorensen the only one who could achieve something there. Or maybe Nicki Sorensen on a good day.
Mads Christensen used to be good on this kind of race as an U23 racer, but has achieved very little as professional.

Yeah probably ... but I think we might get to see some of them in the breaks as they without a real favourite this year. I wonder why Contador decided not to come, he did good last year and since he's already in the area ...

Well, cycling sure is bigger than skating on some ice or doing some niche water sport.

And tennis. Quite a big sport. At least so I've heard. And Athletics.

Keep trying to make yourself look like something. But the Netherlands are definately a far better sports country than Belgium  this is also why you can't stand us.
And can't stand Rabo, and why you can't stand even a small succes from a Dutch rider in 'your' sport. (f.ex the reaction when Langeveld wins Omloop, calling it a Pyhrric victory)

Yes, tennis. Obviously Dekker Tifosi has never heard of Kim Clijsters or Justine Henin.

And China is a far better sport nation than Netherlands.

I wonder why.
You can brag about all those medals all you want, but most of them are from small sports.

And Langeveld peaked too early. You guys were saying he couldn't do anything at Flanders yet he got fifth or something. The winner and the person who got second at Flanders both skipped the Belgian opening weekend. Proving me right even more. Sorry, you're not going to win this discussion.

What discussion? That the Netherlands is a bigger sports country than Belgium? It's fact.

It's also why you personally can't stand them. Luckily most Belgians aren't so small minded as you are.
Same with Dutch people who are jealous of Germany, f.e. there is no point in it. I don't agree with them either.

But you and Boomcie are the prototype Belgians with a minority complex against the Netherlands. Just as there are plenty of Dutch guys with a minority complex against Germany.

If that was true I would need to have a minority complex against France and not the Netherlands. I don't watch football and never have, so no I'm not jealous about losing the world cup final. I really follow only 4 sports: cyclocross, cycling, athletics and tennis.

This whole Belgium vs Netherlands thing doesn't live here in Belgium like it does in the Netherlands. Our country's history is more closely linked to France than it is to the Netherlands.

If I look at your tabloid papers or how your people react on forums, it's more Belgian vs the Netherlands. While we never felt that way, here it's always the Netherlands vs Germany.

I even cheered for Belgium in most sport events where Dutch guys don't count

I know that, it's only a small part of Belgians that act that way (f.ex, the cyclocross beer drinking idiots)

Damn, I wasn't around, would have enjoyed this though.

Anyway, what the heck have I done to be considered a Dutch hater? I just like the competition between us and do admit the Netherlands are a way bigger sports nation.

Rivalry is what makes sports big IMO. So to D_T and anyone else being offended: "don't overdo it please".

In Belgium do you have a phrase like 'Did someone pi55 in his chips?'

Given the amount of beer you drink and all the frites eaten I would have thought you must have.

So come on - fess up - who pi55ed in Dekker-Tifosi's? :)

Er, cycling. Classics with hills. Im still Gilbert/Contador/Gilbert.

Id be very surprised if Cunego does anything in the classics. The classic that suits him the best is Amstel and his 'kick' ain't what it use to be. Though he did show some promise in Tirreno.

I don't see anything wrong with this article.
All he said is that he wants a Classics victory, and you said it yourself: Amstel is an Ardennes Classic;

I think Cancellara could benefit in Amstel by not being THE man to beat.

He doesn't have a chance in hell!
