Cyclingnews reports Schleck says Armstrong gave him a Livestrong bracelet . . . and he didn't have to pay for it! Say what? Does Lance normally charge riders for these bracelets?
Then I got to thinking about the time I stayed overnight in Luxembourg City, many, many years ago. It was November and freezing cold, sleeting off and on. I got a cheap (only by local standards) room near the train station. The room had radiator heating centrally controlled and it was on but it was maybe 55 degrees (13C) in the room. I asked if the heat could be turned up. Mixture of French and English. Bottom line - c'est hiver! of course it's going to be cold. We can't afford to turn the heat up, unless (hint, hint) you can pay a little more for the room.
So, I'm thinking, maybe in Lux. people are used to everything having a price, even a Livestrong bracelet?
