i'm sure if the roles were reversed and cummings was leading cadel up mountains and putting the UK riders into trouble it would be the same from the brits

I'm pretty certain it wouldn't.

I am a little bit ashamed after Cadel has a bad today after the stage that Tomalaris and Sunderland start kicking Cadel when he was down. They questioned h his charachter, motivation and started talking about his retirement amongst other comments. I felt really bitter about that. It seems that they don't mind the ratings and money that he brings in for them but when it is convenient, kick them when they do badly.

I wouldn't read too much in to it mate.

Tomolaris is a known sht stirrer, and is probably just talking sht for the sake of opening his mouth. Saying he needs to retire is a knee jerk reaction, and I don't think cuddles would pay attention to it anyway.

He's got the Olympics coming up and a young family now, so I doubt he's going to let stupid comments phase him.

Cadel's best days are behind him, no doubt, but I don't think he's going to throw in the towel just yet and call time on his career.

Half the problem was the fact the Aussie media suddenly discovered who is he is, read up on the fact that that AC and AS weren't in the tour, completely discounted Wiggo, and naturally assumed Cadel was going to win.

His form was off, his pace was lacking, Sky's plan has run to form.
Simple.
Aussie media are bad, but nothing as bad at the British media.
