Still in disarray: Their baby was conceived naturally, defying doctors' concerns that Armstrong's bout with testicular cancer had rendered him sterile. The baby is due next month

Meaning it turned out to be a little surprise.

Considering that back then Lance understood he would have had to impregnate Sheryl through a lab experiment...

I mean, he saved enough bullets, right? I gots to know!

A source from KZ's cycling federation told me that all the debts are to be paid by Tuesday- i.e. tomorrow.

on saturday they said they would be paid by monday...

time to send the heavies around.. :D

note that the report is debts, not ongoing funding..

Lance Armstrong: The World's Greatest Champion by a man who most certainly sits in the Lance Armstrong camp, John Wilcockson. ITSTL!

Looks like I was right again. What was going on with the team tactics today ? The whole Lance Armstrong comeback thing is a distraction and frankly he's an embarassment. Not only to the team but the sport. He has a lot to learn & new jerseys won't do a thing for this abortion.

Some people have an agenda to push. Lie, cheat, steal whatever it takes for these characters(or lack thereof). Here are the top 10 teams as of today for those who don't paint their face for their job in the circus.

see thats what i thought he was posting originally, but when i looked at the "standings" for today of course they where completely different, columbia still top but the rest had changed.. ... in fact i even posted (and then deleted it when i confused myself....)

If you are going to use statistics at least do not attempt to decieve with completely innacurate statistics... and put up the actual team standings and not the super team standings..

the points standings are completely ridiculous and based on stage finishing.. lol...

so now someone has posted the proper ones..

Astana in dissaray.. discuss.. :D

actaully sod it... lets slate astana.. :D

Super team classification

1 Team Columbia - Highroad 258 pts
2 Lpr Brakes - Farnese Vini 190
3 Lampre - NGC 161
4 Astana 151

darn it.. theyre still above most of the other teams.. :D

Wow Whiteboy you know it would be most awesome if you could stick to reality-based criticisms of Astana rather than making stuff up...

not so much made up, as misleading.. ;) he mislead at least one person who i thought would know better...

anyway...

I rest my case.

What a joke.

It all went bust when Olsen's ex attacked his own team-mate for what ?

yeah and he came back to levi and pulled him up the mountain when levi cracked. I wouldn't call it dissaray but it's obvoius that levi doesn't have the strength to be a team leader.

So why attack in the first place ?

Radio call to popo: "Lance is chasing you down & he has left Levi in the desert heat".

maybe it was a team tactic to put a rider up there and have levi join up to that group but he cracked, so maybe lance went back or it could be that hes doing just as you said.

I bet that little display of domestique harmony inspired Contador with tour confidence.

LOL, :D

I think A. Schleck and Contador are the kind of riders who could attack Menchov--and maybe the only ones right now. Neither scared to take a flyer a long way from home, and the latter with brutal acceleration to break the tow and get the 10 metres and then hold the gap. In interview with Procycling this month, AC says he's been working on the latter.

But the way Menchov shut down di Lucca's surges each time this Giro, one can wonder. Strong, very strong.

Errr yep that's it. Sastre's man yesterday showed what class teamwork is all about. Gave up a stage win for the team leader. Glodie Hawn's daughters ex left his man alone. To your question: no it wasn't a team tactic. Levi needed him after his flat. Why leave him alone ?

It was great seeing Basso attack as soon as Lance joined them to drop him.

Wasn't it Sastre? Or maybe both did at different times. A pre-Tour salvo, maybe.

Which guys are targeting the Tour and not this Giro? Armstrong at least is here just to train for July but are Menchov and Sastre here for that reason too? Menchov looks very good if he hasn't even reached his peak yet but if he's not at his best right now then I have to ask what kind of stuff his on...

Menchov realized that he gets stronger on his second GT for the year, based on a couple of Vuelta wins after average TdFs. I think it was last year that he started racing the Giro hoping that this would put him in better form for the TdF. Maybe he has to rethink his approach ... or, he will be scary good at the TdF!
