How about this?

Sweet! That looks immaculate. I have replaced plenty of those cable clips only to find rust underneath them. The first one nearest the head tube was the most common rust vector. The rubbing brake cable, easy rusting, and a little sweat ruined quite a few.

The much later braze-ons were an improvement, but still got rusty.

Even worse for rust is the Pinarello in Banesto llivery. Rust enters via the hole the brake cable enters and spreads like wildfire from the inside. Later versions tried sealing the whole cable routing assembly. It worked a bit better.

Impec. Heavy, ugly, and non-aero. The only thing good about it is that it's not widely available so it doesn't pollute the scenery.

I saw one of these in a shop a couple of weeks ago - horrible paint job. The gold looks cheap and washed out and the whole thing looked tacky and incredibly underwhelming. I would have expected much better considering Colnago's reputation, price tag and the significance of the frame

Well even great builders miss on occasion. Gold is an impossible color too.
No flame and I own 2.

Agree that there is far too much gold. Would look better with the black and gold reversed but I'd still prefer one of the standard colour schemes.

I still feel like I wasn't paid nearly enough to work on those delta brakes. They are better left in a box.

Schwinn Paramount

This one is a pretty rare vintage American built bike. The drivetrain may not be from that period though. The Campag parts pictured with the steel Colnago are probably from the same period.
