So, is he going to show himself on the Poggio or whenever we are supposed to see him after he should have won Haut Var?

Also, didn't he say that he will be better this year than in 2011?

So far he is just touring around.

He also said he was on track like a month ago ..... that his form was as good as last year. Obviously that's far from the case.

Point taken. In 2010 he was crap in PN too.

Yeah, but he was really good in the Omloop that year, the best man in the race behind Flecha. I don't think his shape was this bad at any point during the 2011 season, last year he won races during this period when he was at 80%, where is he now? Maybe it's all a charade, but I doubt that, why would he put up a show? We'll know more in Milano-Sanremo.

There's enough time till Amstel and Liège, but before that? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

True, but still a qoute from him saying : "My goals are the Amstel Gold Race, the Ardennes classics, the Tour, the Olympics and World Championships in Valkenburg."

He still has plenty of time for the Amstel Gold Race. He's going to shred that race apart.

Who is that in your avatar? It looks like either Iban Mayo or Samu but I don't recall either of them ever wearing the leaders jersey at the Giro.

Gilbert looks a mess.

With what's running through the team at the moment, their laundry probably looks a mess.
So many of their riders currently under the weather with stomach problems and other upsets.
RSNT, trots too.
Maybe their alphabet soup was off?
Rare for teams to suffer like this, these days.

Is there some info on how many of the riders are actually ill with whatever is going around?
It seems like they are suffering en masse...

I just watched the entire stage-damn-what a shameful performance-what on earth is happening to them? Imagine if this TTT was a lengthy one? Evans was genuinely upset & wouldn't blame him a bit for it at all. they "must" start to get their act together or face massive failure in the coming races when matters the most....

Via Twitter: BMC will stick with the Classics as they suck at TTT as they are nearly one minute behind Greenedge
