Bling almost clawed his way back in Milan San Remo, I think he is in for a big Ardennes campaign

MvdP was the only one who didn't already look completely dead so can't say the outcome of this sprint surprised me.

It's strange to say, considering the competition, but it was quite an easy one for Mathieu. Best cyclist in the world, no one comes even close.

Wow! MVDP truly is something else. Even in that kind of company head and shoulders above the rest.

Wow. That heli shot. So easy. He had the worst position for the sprint and dropped them all, even looking back like where are you Ala? So so strong. Goodness.

Looks natural for MVdP to be the last man standing when he doesn't need to chase the whole day.
Well done.
Congrats to the aces, too.

Bling was unable to sprint due to getting pushed into the barriers by Ala but I still think Mathieu would have likely won.

Really good field. I'm expecting a Alaphilippe-MvP battle like most others but I wouldn't be shocked to see someone like Wellens win either.
The tricast!

MvdP is just scary good. Expect teams to start including cyclocross races in their winter training now.

The organizers are gonna be really happy with this top-10. That top 4 is amazing, 5th is a guy who will win this race in the future and 6th is the winner of the RVV.

Right now the question is simply which kind of climb is too hard for MvdP.

Imagine he could win MSR too

Mathieu's team was also very good today.

Biggest surprise of the last couple of weeks imo, the strenght of his team, especially Vermeersch.

I know one rider who must be pretty bummed out over the amazing field.

I was listening to a podcast today with an interview with former Danish champion, Alexander Kamp. He is currently riding for Riwal but he really wants to go to the WorldTour. He has really sacrificed everything he possibly could this spring, even breaking up with his girlfriend to keep full focus on his cycling. And his biggest spring goal was the Brabantse Pijl which is the finest invitation they team has got. And he is suited to the race, but now it will be very difficult to go top 5, if not impossible.
8th. Good call.
