Bring back the 5,00 m pursuit

When there were separate world championships for amateur and professional riders the distances were 4 km and 5km respectively. Then when the categories were combined the distance was set at 4 km. The 5 km is a better test of endurance and I would like to see it return.

Also, they rode four rounds. A much different game back then.

Yeh I agree, in fact it should be 6km, try going 60kph for this distance on your roadie-and they have aero gear and no wind. Plus it would be parity, double the distance the females do.
