Democracy depends on the quality of the question fed into it. Nobody thought to define what 'Brexit' meant, prior to the referendum, which is why there was no talk or soft or hard Brexit during the pre-vote discussion.

There is a lot to be said about the nature of democracy, its flaws and the prerequisites for it to function, let alone allowing constitutuonal change without a 2/3 majority in parliament, but I don't want to get into that because I know that you don't function beyond the level of simplistic platitude.

So in other words, democracy is only okay when you are part of the majority otherwise its conditional.
Gotcha.
Democracy is great...Unless you're on the left and struggle to understand it

Maybe you can clarify? Go large.
Stalin was on the left, and he hated democracy. Therefore everyone on the left hates/doesn't understand democracy.

Checkmate, libtard

I see. So how are UK pubs and US 50s diners doing?

I know UK has tighter regulation than US, but post and then Thatcher policy must have opened/closed the high streets. I only meant it as one example anyway.

You got me: Stalin=left=bad
I think pubs have been held up by sheer tradition and nothing else. And as you say, by opening the high st. they became closed. Anyway, i'm starting to get confused and i want to clarify the stalin thing was a joke.

Oh, I knew that. Unfortunately, it’s not for some.

Yes, the fascist regimes of Germany, Italy and Spain were well known for their libertarian values and lack of state intervention in people's lives.

Nobody can argue with this.

Yes, 100% agree. Nobody can argue with that.

It's unfortunate those regimes were infiltrated via the typical leftist coups and inevitably turned so bad.

Infiltrated by a coup?

Riiiiight. So Hitler's regime would have been benevolent had it not been 'infiltrated by a coup'.

Interesting. And did that happen before or after Hitler wrote 'Mein Kampf' in 1925, where he sets out his view that the two great evils of the world are Communism and Jews?

Actually don't bother answering.

MASSIVE EDIT: You got me, nice one :D

The right love democracy because Hitler.

So when the majority agree with you its fine otherwise they're Nazis.
gotcha

No, as usual, you haven't gotme.

Hitler was democratically elected.

What was it you were saying about the majority?

according to you, 52% of eligible UK voters are Nazis.
The other goldfish around here won't recall the origin of this discussion. You can muddy the waters all you want, but you and I both know you've painted yourself into a corner.

As bad as May is I just couldn't see our country being run by communist and lets not beat about the bush, that's what Corbyn and McDonnell are, then you have that clown Abbott backing them up and she is nothing but a racist buffoon, right now Labour are an amazing gift to the Tories.

I will never vote Labour as long as they 2 are running it and I will never ever vote SNP

The last few pages have hurt my brain, I'm avoiding that snake pit.

Rick, Corbyn isn't a Communist. A socialist yes, but not a Communist. It pays to portray him as one, because it allows the opposition to make cheap shots about the USSR or China. I don't agree with everything Corbyn and Labour propose, but I do agree with a lot of it, particularly the re-nationalisation of many essential services. I feel the same about these as I do about the health service, they should not be run for profit. I think that the rich should pay more to support the poor, the distribution of wealth is terrible and getting worse and that work is chronically undervalued in production compared to the ownership of the means.

Abbott isn't a racist. Racism requires an inherent belief of superiority and a social factor that discrimination by minorites against majorities doesn't have. It can certainly be a form of partisanship. From what little I've seen she certainly seems to have been fairly incompetent in shadow cabinet positions, her views seem pretty offensive at times and her presence doesn't help.

Now you've just pushed it a little too far with that one.
You aren't that illiterate ;)

Why don't you stop the infantile winding up and contribute something interesting or amusing? It's not even as if you are any good at trolling.

You said it yourself. Anyone who disagrees with you is a Nazi.
Have you ever stopped to consider that you might be on the wrong side of history?

Poor Ms May doesn't have the balls to extract her failing nation from the German Empire.

Firstly, you are ignorant of the domestic politics at play, secondly you are ignorant of the nature of the EU.

Is there a topic that you actually know something about? Perhaps we could discuss that? It would certainly be more edifying than watching you parade your ignorance as a virtue.

If you can't see the EU for what it is, that's your problem not mine.
Too bad your prime minister is too weak to execute the will of the people for independence.

It's not the will of the people. It's the will of 52% of those that were eligible to vote that voted.

What's interesting is that you support your country remaining in the 4th Reich.

Your bolded quote is me pointing out that the UK referendum vote is not"the will of the people", it is the will of half of those who voted.....or do the other half not qualify as part of "the people"?

The second quote is pointing out that Hitler rose to power democratically.

So again, quote where I said whatever it is that you are saying that I said. Your misinterpretation doesn't count, I'm afraid.

Democracy is majority rule. Majority voted for Brexit. If you can't accept that outcome then you don't support democracy. This should be very simple to understand.

You brought up Hitler as you always do. You seem determined to prove Godwin's Law in one post most of the time. Obsessed?

So no quote of mine proving your claim then. Thought not.

You clearly don't understand the paradoxical nature of democracy.

I fully understand that you don't accept it when you lose and "its because Nazi's won". You've made that clear.
