Can anyone beat these 6

One day races (classics, monuments whatever) are just way too much of a lottery to clearly define a hierarchy in today's peloton.

Yeah Alaphilippe, van Aert & van der Poel are super strong in these kinds of races, but everyone else knows that so they get an entire peloton riding against them & the win is easily lost. Meanwhile in GC stage races, it doesn't matter whether everyone knows Pogacar & Roglic are untouchable, come the final climbs they'll still drop everyone & take the lead.

So out of those six, notwithstanding accidents I'd say it's only Pogacar & Roglic who're "unbeatable" because the nature of the events they compete in (GC classification in stage races) means the strongest in the field mostly comes out on top. Meanwhile the others face a massive fight against a whole bunch of guys who can beat them on one day.

Schachmann and Vingegaard, though.
