Just like i felt every time i've seen this before, i don't like the gifting of races.
Rather Pogacar just won this. Just as i rather seen other team leaders just win it in the past.
It's gonna keep happening in the future by other riders as well. and everytime it happens, i won't like it whilst the world celebrates the sport- and teammanship.
Oh my...some people really find it hard to enjoy cycling. And it's not just you, there are several others too. I'm really sorry...

McNulty has been part of several major wins for Pogacar. It's only a gift if Pogacar could ride every race without team help and still prevail. You have to appreciate reciprocation of effort because the support riders do it every....single....GT that gets won.
And from a good-feeling perspective; both McNulty and Pogacar will have that soldiers in arms moment to recall. It may sound too orchestrated for your taste but it's good to be part of those moments. They don't really care what you and I think in this situation.

Greatest performance for Americans in the history of a one day classic?
I guess it helps when everyone else is dealing with jet lag, but it's still a great day to be an American cycling fan. Really too bad the WC team is Barta Lamperti Simmons Vermaerke Warbasse, when it could be Simmons McNulty Powless Kuss Jorgenson[*]. I suppose this must have something to do with travel times and expenses and lack of incentive to fight for minor placings.

* Jorgenson not looking like he's on tip top form so swap this for Vermaerke or whoever really wants to go.

We can't talk about politics. Let's say some people haven't enjoyed his public expressions re: the forbidden subject, similar to Dygert.
I've still no idea what he's done wrong besides being from a Republican family and the one ambiguous emoji, and looking like he just got back from Sturgis. Americans are really tribal and intolerant these days.

Totally agree w/ what the world tour team should be. Especially for a difficult TT course. McNulty and Jorgenson would do well if in shape. But they declined the invitations.
