Cape Epic living up to its name

"Then Stefan helped me - he had secretly asked our physio what to do in such a situation" - Platt, after taking the lead

With Stnader and Sauser having some bad luck and Team Bulls pushing through a dislocated shoulder this must make the Cape Epic the top multiday race to follow and ride. Crazy stuff as Africa throws everything at the riders day after day. Seems like it also knocked the wind out of their sails as they came in second but they still have some fight left. I can't see them clawing back 15 minutes in the next two stages but lets hope they end up on the podium. Stander, being the homeboy, seems to have the least luck. You'd think the African spirits would protect one of their own;)
