I suppose Remco is racing these races to get away from the (other) aliens as well.

Nice win from Evenepoel, but also a bit boring. All races are more interesting with B-Tier riders, than one of the big 6 there. The gap is just too big to make it interesting

Remco is doing to Morgado, Scaroni, Rondel what Pogacar is doing to Remco. Screams little man syndrome when you say you want to challenge Pogi as much as possible, but deliberately avoid him as much as possible outside of Liege which is obligatory by the team anyway.

No I dont mind Remco riding this. My issue is more that hes fleeing from all the biggest races this spring, which is my point. The best riders are supposed to show up to the biggest races, full stop. Especially when your vocal about your gonne do that, at least show up to one..

Thats my only problem and its only because I want him in the biggest races nothing else. And it honestly comes across as a bit of little man syndrome. Im sorry

Cant be bothered with a lot of appreciation for a Remco solo in this level of race.

Liege, Tour, WC and Lombardia as only major races is a massive attempt to minimize your ROI on your best rider.

Who cares if you have to mental gymnastic euro TT beeing some big race are we to pretend that is the case now?

Remco coming from he is argueably the second best guy overall in the world and got everything to prove, the same cant be said about the other guy so it cant go both ways, no. One guy is dunking on the other everytime in the exact same manner as he just dunked on Rondel, it cant go both ways if you cant see the difference thats on you.

Precisely no idea why anyone would be defensive about it. Its even coming from the standpoint that I want him to race the biggest races. Its just frustration on my part that I don’t get to see him in races I’d love to see how he would do.

That’s a really nice medium mountain stage profile but all suspense will be voided if Remco decides to turn it on again.

They just want to see what happens at TDF if everything goes right, and don’t want to take any risks jeopardising that. I think it’s dumb, and that it’s a risk on its own again.

MSR is a low-risk race easy to fit in any calendar. It's really weird they didn't allow it, Evenepoel would have a clear shot at victory if Pog & MVP look at each other for a while in the finale.

I don't think it's that bad, considering Catalunya doesn't have any MTF in the first 2 stages.

Also like @AmRacer says, Sanremo should be the priority. It's a damned Monument, and it's one where he may have the best shot at beating Pogacar and it has the lowest opportunity cost of any big race.
